2010 Internships

YDAz, and many other organizations will be offering some great internship opportunities in 2010, check them out below. Every internship we pass along will be a chance for any applicant to take part in the effort to bring change to the state of Arizona.

Two exciting internship opportunities:
YDAz:
The Young Democrats of Arizona are seeking two to four interns for the spring of 2010. YDAz interns will be responsible for planning and executing projects of varying types. These projects will include events, research, communication, online organizing, and fundraising. Applicants should be detail oriented, and be able to work independently as well as in teams.

Qualifications include:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents;
Transportation to and from our office in Tucson, or downtown Phoenix (we are light rail station adjacent);
12 hours per week.

OFA – Spring Organizing Internship:
Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help bring about change. This is an unpaid internship, however, college credit is available depending on your school’s polices.

·         SPRING 2010 INTERNSHIP runs from early January to early May, start and end dates are flexible depending on your school’s schedule
·         Requires a minimum of commitment of 12 HOURS PER WEEK.
