Save the Ales!

For too long we have turned a blind eye to the dangers of climate change. Now one of the earth’s greatest gifts to man, hops, is threatened. Rising temperatures will make it harder to grow. Hops are of course the key ingredient in beer, which has a special significance in young culture; often it is ritualistically consumed in large amounts in preparation for pilgrimages to Mexican restaurants in the dead of night.

Now this gift of beer and the rich cultural significance that it has are in danger. The Young Democrats are hosting Save the Ales this year to help support the goal of protecting our beer through ensuring Democrats are successful in November. Join me friends, for the bar wells that we drink from may well soon run dry if we do not act soon!!
