Who are we?

Wassup

We are the Arizona State University chapter of the Young Democrats. The young democrats are part of a larger statewide organization, and the national Young Democrats of America. We are committed to representing young people in our effort to shape the future, advocate progressive change, and elect democrats to office.

Why join?

Public policy affects every aspect of your life. From simple things like the rates we are charged in our university tuition, to larger issues like jobs or security, our lives are changed on a daily basis by the decisions of our elected officials. If you or your group has a specific concern, you can join our organization and make it known. We welcome as many young activists to our chapter as are willing to particpate. Dearest Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to visit the online home of the ASU Young Democrats. There are any number of ways you can get involved; with our organization, you can campaign door to door for progressive candidates; engage in issue advocacy and lobbying before all levels of government; and develop connections with those engaged in virtually every other method of activism for social change. If you cannot make a large commitment but would still like to participate in rallies and other events, you can sign up for our mailing list and receive updates on meetings and events. No! matter how large or how small, any help you can provide helps us cut across lines of class, culture, and creed to further the cause of social justice. I hope to see you soon!
